What is the fastest working over the counter acne treatment?

I want to get rid of my acne before school starts. I have combination skin and I break out a lot during my period, even though I still get acne all the time. I want an acne cleanser or treatment that I can get somewhere like Walmart or Target, but I will be willing to splurge for something like Clinique if I know it is going to work. What are the best products out there?

I would recommend Acneace!!!!
I used it, and after 1 months, my acne was COMPLETELY gone!
you can get From Google Search Acneace Official site
Hope it works for you :)

Is the exposed acne treatment better that prescription acne treatment?

I am currently on prescription ziana acne medication but it doesn’t seem to do anything. I’ve been on many different acne meds like epiduo but nothing seems to work. I have heard good reviews about the exposed acne treatment. Is exposed acne treatment better than prescription acne treatment?

no

Is Cetaphil a gentle enough cleanser to combine with a acne tropical treatment?

I am going to use Cetaphil and also a tropical acne treatment called Ziana, will this combination irritate my skin? I have oily skin/ combo skin

yea definitely. i only use my acne system at night because it makes my skin oily, so in the mornings i wash with cetaphil and theres no problems. it gets rid of oil too.

How is panoxyl acne treatment?

I have tried basically everything there is for acne. How is this product? Do you have to get it over the counter? I heard somebody say it bleaches clothing. Does just the acne treatment do that, or does the soap bleach as well? Does it work for back acne? And do you have to get this product over the counter? (The only place on my face that is somewhat sensitve is my chin, so sensitivity isn’t really an issue.)
I don’t want to know about other products that could work better, i want to know specifically about panoxyl. Also, which strength would be good?

Panoxyl works well and quiet fast because it releases oxygen to the skin but because of benzoyl peroxide (an active ingredient proven to be effective towards acne) causes mild to severe dryness and irritation. I used 5% and still caused my skin to dry severely. I recommend you use this only twice a day and purchase an acne cream that you can apply directly to the acne, and use a moisturizer that are non-comedo and oil-free. I recommend a green tea moisturizer or something that contains aloe vera, it soothes the skin.

Benzoyl peroxide is the ingredient that causes bleaching.

What acne treatment will work best for me?

I have a few pimples here and there. I use Neutrogena oil- free acne stress control. It was working wonderfully. Then, I had my period, and I got some break outs. My period stopped, and there is still break outs. Is this normal? Should I stick with this treatment. I have kind-of fair skin. What acne treatment will work best for me if I shouldn’t stick with this product? Please help! Thank you so much!

You must learn how you should fix the internal problem that’s causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief. There are only few decent Sites and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to treat your acne from the inside.

What is the most effective home acne treatment?

I have semi-severe acne and it is extremely stubborn. I’m looking for an easy at home treatment that may help me to clear it up.

Toothpaste helps a lot. Just dab it on every day before sleeping.
Also, try using Cetaphil cleaner, it’s very gentle and will prevent future acne. Use a deep cleaner to clean your skin, then moisturize

ACNE treatment!??!?!?

Ok, which acne product actually GET RIDS of acne!? Ive tried proactive and wasn’t satisfied. I want something you can buy at your local supermarket, and not expensive! I mostly have white heads on my forehead and upper nose, but i also get problem zits sometimes as well! HELP! thank you :) No pills please! Also im 14 years old
ALSO my skin is oily, probably because im 14~ usually only oily where i get acne (forehead + nose + sometimes around my mouth) thank you guys :)
Ugh, I hate Proactive.

I use Neutrogena’s Acne Stress Control. It is green with little beads that help scrub away acne. It works REALLY well with a little facial buff (you can buy them for like a dollar per 12 so def worth it) Then if you still need help you can use Neutrogena’s Daily Cleanser/Mask which comes in a white bottle. Use it as a mask, but only if you have tough skin. Slowly start using it for longer and longer until it gets to where it doens’t burn anymore. (yes, it is supposed to a little.) Then you can also use Clean & Clear’s astringent which works well if your skin starts getting oily during the day and you don’t feel like washing it.

This process sounds long, but only takes about 5 minutes with a few extra with the mask. I have perfectly smooth skin (and I didn’t used to) so it has to work! :)

Acne Treatment With Vitamin B5

The main cause of acne is the blockage of skin pores and the overproduction of sebum. Sebum is an oily secretion that is secreted by special glands called sebaceous glands. These glands are present under the skin producing the sebum for skin nourishment. The normal production of sebum is good for skin health. But the overproduction of sebum can result in the severe acne. So, for the best treatment of acne it is necessary to suppress the activity of sebaceous glands.

There is a direct relation between the sebaceous glands and the vitamin B5 in the body. Vitamin B5 is a good suppressor of sebaceous glands. If the body contains the enough amount of this vitamin, the over activity of sebaceous glands can be controlled. You should consult your physician if you have acne. Physician will try to sort out that your body has the normal level of Vitamin B5 or not.

The deficiency of this vitamin will result in the huge quantity of sebum to cause acne. So by supplying your body with vitamin B5 supplements will result in the cure of acne. There are many tablets available in the market that can remove the deficiency of this vitamin in the body. The regular use of these tablets will help you cure acne. You should also use the natural sources of vitamin B5 in your daily diet. The common sources of this vitamin are liver, peanuts, soy beans etc. By daily intake of these natural sources of Vitamin B5, you will see the improvement in your acne condition.

Laser Skin Treatment Removes Acne Scars

Acne can be devastating at any age, but far worse than the condition itself is the scarring left behind. While the pimples and infections will eventually go away and can be treated, many teens are left with the reminders on their faces in the form of unpleasant scars. Fortunately, they don’t have to live with them forever.

With laser skin treatment, acne scars are treatable. This process is also referred to as laser skin resurfacing and it can make all the difference in a person suffering from acne or another skin issue.

How It Works

The advancements in laser technology have made it possible to use this treatment to resurface the skin and not only remove acne scars, but also to treat the active cases. After a laser skin treatment, acne is greatly reduced and may even be eliminated after several procedures.

When the laser is focused on areas of the skin, it burns away the top layer and penetrates the skin to stimulate cell growth. This has the effect of producing an entirely new layer of skin, fresh and unscathed. Since this is a rather delicate procedure, it’s important that only a trained professional perform it.

What to Expect

This technique works very well on fair skinned people, but requires a little more finesse on those with darker skin, since the laser could cause loss of pigmentation or color. It can be used on a variety of scars caused by pimples and infections. These might include irregular skin, pitting or even raised areas of scar tissue, depending on how the infection was treated.

Before treatment, you’ll be briefed on what is going to happen. Your eyes will need to be protected, so the spa professional will cover them. This just ensures that there will be no accidental exposure, though the laser will not be used near your eyes.

The procedure can be slightly painful, so often a topical anesthetic is applied to help with that. Any discomfort after the treatment can be relieved with Tylenol. Depending on the type of laser used, you may have some recovery time and require multiple sessions. The least invasive laser treatment, Fraxel, is virtually painless, non-invasive and requires several treatments in order to achieve good results. For this reason, some people prefer the stronger CO2 laser.

Resurfacing the entire face can take up to 2 hours, but most people only need a partial treatment for specific areas which takes far less time. If you opt for the strongest and most invasive treatments, you could end up with a few weeks of recovery ahead of you. However, at the end of it, you’ll have smooth, much improved skin.

Not Just For Acne

While laser treatment is a great way to help acne and remove the scars, there are plenty of other uses. It’s been a common way to get rid of fine wrinkles and liver spots in celebrities for several years and now the public has access to this, as well. As an anti-aging treatment, lasers are quite successful. They can also be used to reduce or even remove (with multiple treatments) hair in areas where it is unwanted.

Laser skin treatments can be found at spas that offer more technologically advanced techniques. It’s a procedure that should only be done by professionals who have the experience with the equipment, since misuse could cause problems like burns and loss of pigmentation. A properly equipped spa will be able to treat acne and other skin problems without issue, though.

As this acne treatment becomes more common, you’ll find that more and more spas offer this option. The popularity also brings the price down, making this a procedure that nearly anyone can afford.
