What product can help clear up acne scars and even skin tones?

I used to have a lot of acne and some of the acne turned into dark spots on my face. I have oily skin. I need something that works, maybe you've tried it or something. My skin tone is also not even so I wanted to see if there is any product that will help. Thank you!

For an overall treatment at a reasonable price with a money back guarantee, I would try the Exposed Acne Solution at:

http://www.acnereliefguide.com/exposed-acne-treatment-review.html

It is a product combines the Science of Fighting Acne with this exclusive combination of actives to for the treatment all 4 known causes of acne:

1. Unclog Pores & Renew Skin
2. Eliminate Acne Causing Bacteria
3. Regulate Oil & Sebum Production
4. Calm Redness & Inflammation The Result is Clear, Healthy Looking Skin! No wonder tens of thousands of people rely on Exposed to keep their skin healthy.

In addition here are a couple of simple natural remedies that you could try. It involves lemon juice and rose water. What I do with these natural home-made remedies is quite simple.

You mix the two together, 50/50. I apply the solution to my face using a cotton ball, leave on for 30 minutes, then wash off with warm water,

Do this procedure daily for about a month. You should see an improvement. Always check with your doctor if you are unsure.

Another natural acne treatment is the use of honey. After cleaning your skin, you can then apply honey to the affected part of your skin. Wait after ten minutes before rinsing it with clean water. It fights the bacteria on the affected parts

What foods cause acne and darker skin? What foods help skin stay claer and bright?

I want clear and brighter skin, what foods should i eat?

I dont want acne, blemishes, or my skin to go drak/dull, what food should i not eat?

Foods high in Anti-oxidants are great for your skin and overall health. Broccoli, pomegranates, beets, and pistachio nuts are just a few. I love to drink the POM juice which is from the pomegranate. It is available in most grocery stores in the fresh salad isle. This healthy drink supplies 100% of the recommended daily intake of anti-oxidants. Here's to our good health!

How long did it take for your acne to disappear?

I just started using Oxy acne treatment.
I've tried tons of things, but none of them have every actually gotten rid of my acne.

I even used the "magical" Proactive, which didn't do anything for me.
The best I've gotten out of acne treatments is 2 weeks of "Woo hoo! It's gone", then it comes back full force and doesn't seem to go away.

So I'm just wondering, how long did it take you guys to get rid of your acne?
And after you got rid of it, did you still have to keep cleaning your face rigorously to keep it from coming back?

ALSO! What would be best for body acne? I hate this acne I have on my shoulders and back… I'm using the sample soaps I got with my Oxy box.

Well, I can tell you that I've had acne (face & back) ever since I was about 14. I've tried everything under the sun, and yes, even Proactive, which did absolutely nothing but dry my skin out and make it feel tight and itchy. When I got into my 20's, I was still having the same acne and it wouldn't go away.

Then, I started researching nutrition and stuff, originally to get in better shape but, it ended up having a secondary effect that was very desirable. I cut out sugar, flour (bread, cookies, crackers, chips), and partially hydrogenated oils out of my diet, and began ingesting large amounts of greens. (I bought a Juicer and began making fresh vegetable juices with Kale, carrots, broccoli. I also started eating a lot of apples- love them! Let me tell you- what a difference! HUGE. Now, if I eat a sugary meal or junk food, when I wake up the next day it shows on my face! As long as I eat healthy and avoid sugar, flour, and bad fats, my face face and back stay clear.

Basically, I found a connection between diet and my acne. Try it for like a week and see if yours clears up too. I can't emphasize enough about the flour though- yes, even whole wheat flour would cause me to break out. So, get a "flourless" bread, like Ezekiel or Diabetic Lifestyles. Sugar seemed to be the worst offender. I eat a lot of BROWN rice, which doesn't seem to bother my skin, as well as Quinoa. You can also get brown rice pasta if you like pasta. The green veggies are a must as well- if I go more than a day without eating greens I start breaking out. What I do is have a green vegetable juice in the morning, and then eat a green salad (Earthbound farms Organic Baby Greens) with lunch and dinner.

This is the ONLY thing that works for me!

How to rid severe acne and scars at the same time?

I have severe acne i guess, my acne has improved alot form BenzaClin, but i have to put alot of moisteriser on because it dires out my skin so bad. I still break out in clumps and big soar pimples/spots. My skin looks gross because it is faded from the BenzaClin and red from my acne and it is all scared. Does anyone know how to get rid of redness and remove scars while still getting rid of my acne?

Mandy J !
Below are presented a couple of things you need to do as a part of acne pimples, and scar removal home remedy treatment:

* Gently apply fresh limejuice on pimples and blackheads.
* Dab the mixture made by combining 1 tsp fresh coriander powder and a pinch of turmeric powder on the pimples, while going to bed in the night and wash it off when you wake up the next morning.
* Take a few fresh curry leaves and make a paste. Apply the paste on the acne-affected area and keep it overnight and wash it off with warm water the next morning.
* Apply the paste made of nutmeg (Jaiphal) and raw milk on acne and wash it off after 20 minutes. Do it for about 10-12 days and see the magical effects.

When using Murad Acne Complex how can you tell if your skin is experiencing irritation or is just purging?

I recently began using Murad Acne Complex and Iam planning to stick with for a good 3 to 4 weeks for good results, I hope. My skin doesn't usually experience sensativity but after using the products my skin sometimes burns and doesn't feel totally soft and smooth. Iam wondering if my recent breakouts are my skin purging or irritation…

The same exact thing happended to me. You have to just be careful, it is very strong so I would not overuse some of it, especially the cleanser. I haven't been that happy with the results, it dries my skin out like crazy and pimples come back a lot of the time.

how many sessions of microdermabrasion will work mild acne scarring?

I'm 19 years old and I'm planning to go through microdermabrasion. Will I see results with 5 sessions? or will it take 10 sessions though? I have mild acne and acne scarring, oil skin and red spots due to acne.

This usually depends on the product you are using for microdermabrasion. I had experienced good results for my acne scars with just 3 sessions of Zenmed's renewing microdermabrasion complex.

In fact as you say, that you have mild acne, acne scarring, oily skin and red spots due to acne, then why do you want to have microdermabrasion sessions. These sessions at a spa are expensive and would only give you relief from scarring and your oily skin problem.

I would suggest you use Zenmed's derma cleanse acne system. It is a powerful system comprising of products that helps in getting rid of acne from its roots, stop its early re-occurrence, minimize the scarring and redness, unclog pores and provide a clean, clear and smooth skin. This would cost you just one-fourth of what you would end up paying at a spa and also save you alot of time. I would advise you to go for this stuff for a permanent solution to your skin problems.

I would also offer you to use my discount code "zen4less" to avail a price off, in case if you make up your mind to buy this product.

When you start a new acne treatment, should your acne get worse before it gets better?

OK so I just started using this new acne medicine last night. It's not proactive but it's just like it. I've read that your acne will get worse before it gets better. Is this true? And if so, why? Is it because it brings the bacteria to the surface?
Oh, and if it does get worse before it gets better, should I pop the pimples or should I let the medicine do it's trick?

It's different for everyone. You need to find a face wash and stick with it. The best way to get rid of it is to wash your face twice a day with a wash that has a high content of salcylic acid. Before you wash, fill a sink with hot water and steam your face. That will help to open up your pores and let the medicine in to work. And most importantly, keep your hands away from your face except to wash it!

Does anyone elses cats have acne as diagnosed from a vet?

please dont answer ignorantly. I know what cat acne is, and if you dont, dont answer. I am looking for someone who is controlling their cats acne and what they are using to successfully control it. The vet has an expensive cream, but i'd like to try home remedies if they have worked for someone else. neosporin?

I treated one of my kitties years ago for acne. She is 16 yo now and this was when she was 2-3 years old. Her vet just had me cleanse her chin twice a day with a plain soap (no perfumes or dyes) and rinse. Hers cleared in about a week.

Like the above poster said, plastic dishes can be the culprit. It was the case with mine, too. Once I threw out the plastic dishes and started using glass or ceramic, her acne cleared and never returned.

Purrs to you and kitty.

what is the best ways you have gotten rid of acne?

please list all the best things you've used or things you've done to get rid of acne. also say what foods you had to stay away from. please dont list any doctor prescribed medicine because my acne isnt bad, its only a little bit of acne but i want to get rid of it fast. please list the name brands of the items and if you have any household remedies for acne it would be great if you could list those too. OH yeah and i have blackheads too so any tips on how to get rid of those would be helpful. thanks! by the way the reason im listing this in womens health is because, well, this is a problem that all women come across and i guess its kind of a health problem…thankss!
most of the acne is on my forehead by the way and the blackheads are on my nose. its weird though cause the acne is not red or irritated bumps they're like…regular skin tone color and they're only noticable if i turn my head a certain way and the light catches them in a certain way. yeah. lol sorry i thought maybe that would be useful info…
sorry about the gramatical error in the title of this topic lol..didnt realize

I have had acne most of my life, and I am 40 now.

I have tried medicine to kill hair follicle mites, to kill fungus….sulfa drugs (topical and pill), antibiotics, creams lotions….everything.

I was given t-sal shampoo by a new dermatologist who believed the acne on my scalp was seborrhea. I used it on my face, and lo and behold….it worked. My skin has been beautiful.

It removes the upper layer of skin, so the contents of your pores don't get stuck in there. If only I had known how easy it is. You can get t-sal in the pharmacy. It is made by neutrogena…you just put it on your skin (not in your eyes) for a few minutes, then wash it off, and use a mild face lotion afterwards.
