How to remove acne scars yourself without any medication?

I am tired to go to the dermatologist , I tried several acne creams but none work. I am 23 and I really need to find a treatment that help me remove my acne scars. I tried home remedies for acne and none helped me. Any suggestions on some acne treatments? I can’t afford laser acne treatment so please don’t mention this option to me. Thanks

Well you remind me my daughter:) If none of these treatments worked for you then try Zeno and blue light therapy. They both work and are now affordable.

Try the mini Zeno and see if it works for you

What is the best acne scar treatment to remove my scars?

I have severe acne scars and would like to know what is the best acne scar treatment to remove scars?
I heard about acne blue light therapy. Does it really work? I was advised to remove my scars using Laser resurfacing but it is too expensive for me.

Well if Laser is too expensive then I will definitely try the blue light treatment. Some personal devices now can be purchased so no more need to go to the dermatologist. Don’t use Zeno as it is more prescribed for mild acne.

What is the most effective acne treatment?

I have tried several face washes including proactive, clean and clear advantage as well as several one step acne fighting face washes. As of right now I am using clearasil ultra twice a day and it doesn’t seem to give me dramatic results as I am still getting small bumps (which are visible in natural light). I also have small red spot from earlier acne. Does anyone know of any acne fighting treatments that will clear these small bumps/red marks?

Acne Rid or remove

STOP popping the spots, also known as pimples and zits. This may make the pimple look worse due to inflammation and irritation. Popping a zit can spread infection under the skin and produce even more pimples than before. If you do pop a spot then immediately clean it with soap and water or rubbing alcohol in order to prevent infection. If a pimple erupts in a particularly bothersome place, learn how to target a single pimple. And if you’re determined to pop, learn how to pop a pimple safely and properly. If you do pop a pimple and you want to avoid anything resembling Western medicine, one thing to try is put a mixture of honey and ground cinnamon on the spot. Put a band-aid on it also. You may also want to stay away from stress.

Remove any make-up you have on. Wearing make-up can clog pores, making them dirty and causing pimples. Also try to wear oil-free makeup (if you have oily skin) or a medicated makeup.

Use a mild soap for sensitive skin but it doesn’t matter exactly what type of soap you use. It can be designed for acne-prone skin or not, but you will want to treat your skin gently. Harsh antibacterial soap may actually make your acne worse by irritating skin.

Remove dead skin cells regularly by exfoliating. Use a gentle scrub with natural defoliants like ground walnut shells, or use an over-the-counter chemical defoliant like salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Adding ground walnut shell to a thick moisturizer like cocoa butter can be effective too. Take caution, because over-exfoliating can actually increase the likelihood of acne by irritating the skin. Pat dry, rather than rubbing, since rubbing can cause irritation to the fresh skin you’ve just revealed.

Use a good toner. Spray onto face or wipe on with a cotton ball and wipe off with a clean, dry cotton ball. This gets rid of excess cleanser and tightens pores. Good, inexpensive choices include plain witch hazel for normal to dry skin, lemon juice, or 3% hydrogen peroxide for oily skin. 70% ethyl rubbing alcohol can also be used for severe oiliness, but it can really dry out your skin and irritate it more. Some toners are medicated, and this stage is the best for using a medicated product if you’re only going to use one medication.

What are some home remedies to clear acne?

I’m tired of buying store bought face washes. They don’t do you any good and you’re pretty much putting chemicals on your skin and damaging it. My skin can get very oily it has a few black heads on nose and it has a bit of acne. For whatever the reason I always seem to get white heads to even though i do exfoliate and i also have a little acne with scars. What are your favorite remedies to clear blemishes and other acne. thanks.

Fake tan, believe it or not seemed to clear up my acne every now and then (when i applied it) - loreal sublime bronze gel, the only brand i use of that now. i was once on roaccutane which is amazing and clears it all up - look into that too (hospital prescription only)

as for steaming your face, afterwards rinse with cold water to close pores to stop dirt getting back in.

What is a good everyday acne system to use?

I used to have moderate to severe acne. I cleared most of it up with Clinique’s acne system, but I’m looking for one that will completely clear my breakouts. What have you tried? What has been the best you have used? I have somewhat sensitive skin, so a slightly milder or more natural system would be better. Are there any tricks to completely clearing acne?

There is Skin id, but i havent tried that one but i have a homeremedie
get a cup of rice
put it in a bowl with water doesnt matter how many
let it sit over night
drain the rest of the water put it in a blender grind it till its smooth
then add a lemon stirr it
the put it in the freezer for 25 min the
wash ur face and has to be dry
put it on like a mask then leave it on for 30min wash off with medium hot water
see results in a week

Treating Acne - How To Take Care Of Pimply Skin

Acne is an infection of the skin involving hair and oil glands. Its peculiar symptoms are pimples, cysts, redness and black as well as white heads. While acne on face can ruin your looks to a large extent, acne on body can be very uncomfortable and irritable. Some people think that acne is a minor infection and tend to reject the issue of Acne Skin Care which is important and if neglected can leave permanent scars on the skin.

One should start taking care of Acne long before its appearance. Actually Acne skin is related to being practical than hasty or rash. Acne skin care makes you aware of precautionary measures. It is all about taking care of your daily regimen with discipline. Here is how “Acne Care” can be made into daily regimen.

First and foremost to be taken care in Acne skin care is cleanliness. Daily bath is the most necessary means which helps in keeping your skin clean. Many people bathe at night too. This apart from keeping your skin clean relaxes your body and prepares for a good night’s sleep. In case you live in a hot and humid climate then night shower is compulsory as lot of sweating aggravates acne. One should take a shower after any activity that makes you sweat a lot. This technique is quite effective in acne skin care.

Acne skin care does not include only taking showers twice a day but also wearing clean clothes suitable to climatic conditions and using clean pillows to sleep. You will sweat a lot in tight clothes hence soft and comfortable cotton clothes are better than synthetic clothes particularly if you are already suffering from acne. Acne care also recommends cleaning any paraphernalia that is used on your body (e.g. make-up brush, comb etc.) regularly.

Apart from above use a gentle, water-soluble, oil and soap free cleaner for your neck, arms and face. .A clean body is the most essential part of any skin care regimen. Cleansers are the simplest and very efficient way of getting rid of dirt, excess oil, grease etc. from the skin, helping in prevention of acne occurrence. It is also very very essential that you remove all traces of make up from your face before going to bed at night and not wait till next morning.

In case you are already suffering from acne, then remember not to touch or squeeze them which can aggravate the infection giving rise to permanent blemish. Acne skin care recommends cleansing of the infected area gently using an over-the-counter medicine and a clean/soft cotton pad. There is a wide range of over-the-counter skin creams available in the market out of which many are cleansers. Even after using these skin care routines you do not find any relief then please visit a dermatologist for treatment.

Acne Types And Variations

What type of acne do you have?

There are different types and variations of acne - some forms are very mild, some are more severe, and some are extremely severe causing skin trauma, scarring and even systemic problems.

The Most Common Type of Acne is called Acne Vulgaris. Acne Vulgaris consists of various acne skin lesions. Mild cases consist of whiteheads and blackheads that are relatively easy to treat. The more serious cases include pustules and papules, nodules and cysts which can be treated with either natural acne remedies, or conventional acne treatments.

Acne Rosacea is a form of acne that appears on the face as a red rash with small bumps. Roseacea is not acne vulgaris, but the two conditions can often look the same and because of the redness they are sometimes confused one with the other. Acne Roseacea is often named \”adult acne\” as it usually affects adults ranging in age from the 30\’s to the 50\’s and is more commonly found in women than in men.

Acne Cosmetica is caused by the use of certain types of make up or cosmetics which can clog the pore follicles of the skin causing small bumps that are usually not inflammed. It\’s advisable to stay away from oily creams and moisturizers and \”foundation\” make up if you have acne cosmetica. Instead, use hair and skin products that are oil-free and state \”noncomedogenic\” on the label. The word noncomedogenic means that the product will not irritate acne skin.

The More Serious Types of Acne:

Acne Conglobata is a very rare but serious form of acne that usually occurs in young men in the age range of around 18 to 35. This type of acne consists of abcessed nodules or cysts that connect under the skin in groups. The cysts drain infected fluid and can cause severe scarring. Acne conglobata needs immediate medical treatment and medication.

Acne Fulminans is another very rare but more advanced form of acne conglobata that can arise suddenly and cause painful joints, fevers, weight loss, swollen lymph nodes and muscle weakness and degeneration. Acne fulminans may also be painful. Anyone who develops acne fulminans needs immediate medical care with a dermatologist who can properly treat this condition.

Fighting Acne - How To Win The War

It is true acne is a bother. It pesters. And it is a tenacious adversary. But this does not mean there is nothing you can do to win the war agains it. For one, there are many acne skin care products that can help you repel acne. For another, you can always turn to professionals for their advice.

There are three major categories of acne skin care products. One consists of general or preventive acne skin care products. Another consists of specialized, over-the-counter acne skin care products. And still another comprises on-prescription or dermatologist-prescribed acne skin care products.

General acne skin care products are used for prevention. They comprise the basic skin cleansing products like make-up removers, cleansers, and exfoliants. Most of them prevent acne by limiting oil secretion in the skin and by its pores pores from getting clogged. In addition, these products also make it hard for the oil to stay trapped in skin pores. They therefore stymie the spread of bacteria which cause acne. It is important for you to understand how these products work to keep your skin oil and bacteria free and thereby prevent acne.

The specialized acne skin care products are generally anti-bacterial. They comprise among other things of vanishing creams and moisturizers. They can be bought without prescription and are accessible over the counter. The active ingredients of this group of products include salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and alpha-hydroxy-acid. They fight and repel bacteria.

To find out which specialized skin care product is most effective for you, you may need to try several products first. You may also start with lower concentrations of benzoyl peroxide first, say 5 percent, and see for yourself how your skin reacts to it. If none from the products you tried does not seem to work for you, it would be best if you seek the advice of a dermatologist.

The on-prescription acne skin care products, or those which you can access only with a dermatologist’s prescription, are meant to cure more severe cases of acne infection. Examples of these products are topical ointments and oral antibiotics. A procedure related to application of on-prescription acne skin care products is hormone-based treatment. This treatment assumes that some hormonal changes have also been discovered as one possible cause of acne. Further recourse may indicate surgical removal of the pustule.

These products and procedures normally work best with healthy habits like eating a balanced diet, getting enough sleep and avoiding too much stress. These are all within your control and with them you can outshine acne.

Acne - Know What Treatment Can Mean For You

There are numerous ways one can rid themselves of acne; methods that are highly effective and cheap and definitely not time consuming. Chemical peels and alpha hydroxy acid are two successful ways to treat acne pimples that can show up on your cheeks, forehead, back and neck. For those that suffer from this difficult and embarrassing affliction, the following methods are, for some, viable ways to treat acne. The ensuing article will discuss in greater detail the previously mentioned acne treatments, as well as other ways of treating this problem, aiding you in deciding which is the best treatment to choose.

Treating Acne

Acne can be triggered by several different reasons. It is believed this problem is rooted in the changes that occur when one goes through puberty. Some believe in the false notion that acne is caused by dirty skin. The reality is that cleansing your skin will neither prevent acne from appearing on your face, nor will it help you to get rid of it. For those that suffer from adult acne, the same rule applies. No matter the age, thoroughly cleansing your skin is essential as this eliminates sebum and dead skin cells.

Understand that cleansing the skin with alcoholic detergents and exfoliant creams can actually irritate your skin. Instead it is better to cleanse your face twice a day with a very mild cleanser. When it comes to understanding the cause of, and the treating of acne, there are various biological factors that come into play. Treating this most bothersome ailment is not as simple as washing your face several times a day. Given the above reality, it is essential to know how best to effectively treat adult acne.

Adult Acne Treatment- What works, What Doesn’t

Acne can last well into your adult years. In this instance, acne occurs usually on the face, but can also afflict the body as well. Men are usually more likely to suffer from acne than women. Acne in women usually can strike around the time one has their period. With some individuals, acne can happen at any time.

Acne is not directly caused by certain foods that are ingested; however there are some food substances that can actually irritate your skin. Understand that by sticking to specific diet you will not prevent acne from affecting you.

There are some that falsely believe foods such as chocolate, alcohol, oysters, etc., will trigger off breakouts. However there is virtually no scientific data proving this popular notion to be true. At the same time it is still wise to avoid foods that are considered to be unhealthy as there still remains the possibility that they could very well actually cause acne. There are a variety of effective ways to eliminate acne. These include acne rosacea treatment, and laser acne treatment.

Alpha Hydroxy Acid- A Great Way of Treating Acne

Commonly known as ascorbic acid, this treatment zero’s in on getting rid of excessive oil in the skin. By doing so, there is less of a chance one’s skin will break out. This treatment will also rid the skin of dead cells-the result; your face looks healthier and less irritated. This can be used for both mild and severe acne.

Chemical Peels

Peels work in that a dermatologist applies a specific chemical to the skin. The result is that the skin blisters and then the substance is peeled off.

Treatments For Acne-Final

Acne can be cured in a variety of ways, from laser treatments and peels, to homemade cures. A dermatologist can suggest the best course of action.
