Regarding the other comment about Accutane - Accutane is so dangerous that it has a whole list of side effects: http://www.acnetreatment.org/reviews/accutane.html

Because Accutane’s potential side effects are so severe that before a patient can purchase this treatment they must sign a special promise note called iPLEDGE. The iPLEDGE certifies the patient has been counseled on the side effects and provides that females of child-bearing age be tested for pregnancy and promise to use two forms of birth control since birth defects are so disfiguring and severe.

Those still interested in Accutane can purchase it with a prescription for approximately $300.00 to $400.00.

From what I’ve heard it’s not that great of a product. The whole "formulated specially for you" thing is just a sales hoax and really it doesn’t do much for anyone. I’ve never personally tried it, but if you’re really struggling with acne, get a prescription from your doctor for either Differin, Epiduo, or Benzaclin. Those are the three topical medications that really helped me with my acne problems, and led me to become happier with myself and A LOT more confident. :) Good luck!

I did some research and talked to my doctor to find the most common causes of acne.

    • Hormones: The number one cause of acne is the production of sex hormones, known as androgen, that begins at puberty. This is why majority of acne sufferers are adolescents and teens. Hormones are responsible for then acne flare-ups during menstruation and pregnancy.

    • When the sebaceous gland is stimulated by androgens, it produces extra sebum. In its journey up the follicle toward the surface, the sebum mixes with common skin bacteria and dead skin cells that have been shed from the lining of the follicle. While this process is normal, the presence of extra sebum in the follicle increases the chances of clogging — and acne.

    • Stress: can also cause the production of hormones, such as cortisol, which can aggravate acne. Stress brings upon different hormone levels. With hormone changes the body prompts the skins oil glands to enlarge, secreting more oil. Which causes white heads, black heads and pimples.

    • Oily or heavy make up: Heavy make-up clogs the pores and oily make-ups add more oil, which only adds to the problem if oily skin already exists. Cosmetics, especially certain moisturizers, foundations and pomades contain lanolin, petrolatum, vegetable oils, butyl stearate, lauryl alcohol and oleic acid.

    • Certain medications and steroids: Vitamins are good for your body, But an excess of vitamins B1, B6 and B12 can cause acne flare-ups. These vitamins are good for the skin, but avoid overuse.

    • Diets: For some people, a diet that is high in refined carbohydrates and sugars can actually aggravate their acne.

    • Over abrasive cleansing: Harsh exfoliators can damage skin and spread infections.

    • Picking and squeezing: This can actually send the infection deeper into the skin and can cause scarring.

    • Environmental irritants: such as high humidity and pollution. High humidity actually causes swelling of skin. Pollution is of course is a big cause for clogging your pores.

    • Genes: Family members who are also acne sufferers. Acne is inherited and severe cases known as cystic acne usually come from heredity.

    And..,

What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.

Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:

P.S. I also know someone who used to suffer from severe acne for 14 YEARS and finally got rid of it completely. She’s sharing her story at her site:

Maybe you could learn from her inspirational story.

    Good luck.

This is seriously the newest ’scam’ cancel your order or wait until you get the second one.
By then you will know for sure if you like the product.
Call your credit card or bank if you have troubles. This is the #1 reason I don’t encourage this product.
It’s got a great ad, marketing, packaging but the auto ship! (Ugh)

There is this new popular cream that people have been talking about.

It prevents future and existing acne, diminishes scars, and lightens skin and blemishes. Fast results too! (It’s been claimed that major results can be seen within a week and no later than two weeks)

Before and After photos are available at the given ebay site.

This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:

Search up "Cee En’s Acne Solution" on ebay.

First 100 customers can get the item for $1 for one week trial and up to 3 weeks. Or you can purchase 1 month supply for $40, 3 month for $100, or 6 month supply for $150

It’s expensive, but the product DOES work.

My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.

I don’t have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.

check the seller’s feedbacks on the cream

    I hope this helps. =)

A lot people treat acne in an ineffective way. Most creams and ointments and acne cleansers out there forget one thing. Acne is not just a facial problem. Acne is also caused by hormonal imbalances and toxins in the body.

What you need is a product that attacks acne from the root cause or else using just creams and ointments will only get rid of it temporarily.

You need to detoxify your system by using colon cleansers or any good detox product. If you have dirty blood, this does not help with curing acne.

But you should also do the basic preventive measures like washing your face and neck regularly, avoiding oil base products and generally keeping your skin clean.

But if you want a really good acne treatment that actually works, I’ll personally recommend you try the products they have at http://www.fast-acne-treatment.info and http://www.treatacnefree.info. With the second site, you get a free trial so no cost for you to try them out. But I personally always recommends the first site. Hope this helps you somehow.
