What is a natural way to get rid of acne and acne scars?

Well I have acne scars and don’t know how to get rid of them.
I want a natural way…
I also get acne every now and then is there a natural way to get rid of it?

Cleanse daily, avoid washing away natural oils with soaps or washes, this causes skin to produce more oil than normal which clogs pores. I recommend Oil Cleansing Method (OCM), it doesn’t strip away natural oils so is healthy, reduces acne and heals scars. Mix half Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) to moisturize and half Castor Oil (CO) to cleanse, change mix as your skin changes, also try adding tea tree oil as it’s antibacterial. Massage mix into your face, then put a hot face cloth onto your face for at least 1 minute, this opens up pores letting the oil cleanse. Wipe off oil, any trace amounts of oil are absorbed so skin won’t be greasy. http://www.moogoo.com.au/category13_1.htm Have your own face cloth and towel, keep them clean and dry to avoid bacteria growth which can cause spots. Moisturize daily, as long as it’s not greasy it won’t cause spots, but don’t be scared to use oils such as Bio Oil which will heal scars too, remember oil is actually good for your skin.

Once a week steam to open pores by putting your head under a towel over a bowl of hot water, but don’t do this during breakouts as it stimulates blood flow and oil glands which can make things worse. Exfoliate weekly to scrub off dead skin, use something with rounded beads as things such as apricot kernels have sharp edges which cause small cuts leading to spots. Another way to exfoliate is cosmetic vinegar which also promotes circulation, regulates skins pH and is antiseptic. Mix 500ml of apple cider vinegar, 3ml lavender essential oil, 3ml rosemary essential oil, 2ml rosewood essential oil, and 2 tablespoons glycerine. Place into a glass bottle, use as cleanser by adding 1 tablespoon vinegar to 1 cup of water. Try masks too, they are easy to make and there are many recipes online, see Make Your Own Cosmetics http://www.makeyourcosmetics.com or Pioneer Thinking http://www.pioneerthinking.com try this mask;

Strawberry acne mask;
Ingredients: ½ cup fresh strawberries, 1 egg white, 2 teaspoons of honey.
Mix together ingredients until smooth using a blender or a fork. To use spread over face and leave for 15 minutes, rinse off with cool water and pat dry. This one is good as strawberries are rich in salicylic acid which is commonly used in acne treatments, honey is also antibacterial.

Keep yourself healthy, diet is a big factor so make sure to get a healthy diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables as well as a lot of water, but avoid salty foods as iodine aggravates acne, try also a good multivitamin - vitamins A, B6, zinc and chromium help to clean up acne. Get plenty of exercise, sleep and stay stress-free. Pay particular attention to your skin during harsh weather when it is more prone to damage, also avoid agrivation from the sun by using plenty of sunscreen. Make-up is best avoided all together, but if you do wear it use as little as possible and keep your make-up clean as dirty sponges or hands in make-up causes spots. Use mineral foundation as it has great coverage but is light so won’t clog pores and is free from harmful ingredients, most commercial brands make mineral ranges now so it’s easy to find.

Can I use Clearasil (acne treatment) to help make my sty go away?

As some of you may already know, I have had a sty for the last few months now. All the remedies I've tried haven't worked so far (the doctor, warm compresses, tea, milk, prescription anti-biotic medications, you name it). So, now I'm thinking about throwing some Clearasil on my eyelid. The theory is: If the sty is like a pimple, then acne treatment products ought to clear it up. My only problem is: Why hasn't anyone ever thought of this idea before? Am I missing something?

Usually tissue around the eye is way too delicate for anything like Clearasil, which is highly astringent and will hurt like a muthafuckah if you get it in your eye. Highly astringent products can severely damage the eye and the tissues around it, that's why. It's your eye, you'll do what you'll do. But I doubt anyone here is going to recommend this course of action to you…

How of you get rid of acne on the arm after exercising?

I have started to exercise and I sweat alot. Now I have been getting bums which i believe are pimples (zits) on my arm. How do I prevent that from happening? And how do I take care of this acne now.

Should I apply lotion or moisturizer after applying acne treatment?

I am currently using Aveeno's Clear Complexion Cleansing Pads. Obviously, because it's an anti-acne product, my skin is left dry after use. Should I apply anything else (like moisturizer or lotion, etc.) onto my face after this? I don't want to be introducing unnecessary oils to my face after acne treatment, but it feels like I should take further action.

You should use the products by Aveeno in the same 'Clear Complexion' line. There is an astringent, moisturizer, several cleansers and a few other products. They are usually developed to work together. Skin ALWAYS needs moisture–just needs to be the right kind. Good luck.

I love Aveeno products–body stuff too.

My secret treatment for zits–a product by ORIGINS called 'Spot Remover' comes in a little teeny bottle–lasts a long time. I love, love, love ORIGINS body products.

Will my face acne stop when I start growing facial hair?

I am 16 at the moment, and I have mild Acne. I have just started to notice that I am growing facial hair, I already have pubic and armpit hair. My question is, will acne stop as soon as I grow facial hair?, because I am going to be shaving, and if I'm shaving over spots it's going to be a killer. I have had this acne for over a 1 year and a half now.

Any help?

Hey Jack,

Sounds like you're in the dark about what really causes acne. The only thing growing facial hair will do is spread your acne. Hair follicles produce sweat, and sweat carries toxins from your body. You really need to tackle this thing from the inside out before you start to shave and create scars.

I'll link you to a home remedy that clears up acne in like three or four days. My family is really big on natural health care and I know first hand that conventional products are designed for profit…not to eliminate problems.

Here's the link, and good luck :o)

What do u recommend for acne treatment?

I would like to know what do u recommend for acne treatment?
I don't hav severe acne ist mild biut irriating.

si it possible to get rid of acne in less then a week (7 days)

What ever you do dont use Proactive, it doesnt work. ive used it before and if i ever forgot to put it on for one day i broke out really bad. Clean and Clear works but it doesnt do wonders. try not to get stressed, only because stressing makes it worse and when you dont stress it clears up a bit. so try using Clean and Clear and not stressing at the same time. it should help clear your acne a bit.

Is there a good way to prevent acne without medicine?

I've had acne problems since I was twelve, for eight years. I'm twenty now and its not nearly as bad as it once was but sometimes i have breakouts. I've been on every acne medication known to man, most of it worked to some extent but the majority of oral medications have dangerous side effects and I'm quite sick of the topical stuff, it makes my face so dry and I have heard it increases the risk of skin cancer.
So what can i do to get rid of this acne, Right now I'm just washing my face about four times a day and using clearasil cream every night, but its really messing up the skin on my face. I don't have many acne problems when I use it, though. I've heard all the advice about acne like don't touch your face, don't eat greasy foods, etc. I'm doing all this stuff, but still having some problems. Is there a natural way to prevent this acne?

There are two good ways to get prevent acne without medicine!! One is drink a lot of water because that way you can hydrate your skin and relieve unwanted moisture(sweat) faster. Two, exercise so that way you sweat. When you sweat your pores open up and you wash away the dirt and oil, so drink all the water you want and then some and that should help. Might not always work but hey It works!!

What is the best acne treatment/face wash?

I want my skin to be really nice, is proactive the best brand out there? What treatments make your face acne free but still soft?

Face wash has almost no effect on acne, other than irritating it more. Try a leave-on acne treatment, such as benzoyl peroxide (I use Zapzyt right from the drugstore) and a very gentle cleanser such as cetaphil.

What product can help clear up acne scars and even skin tones?

I used to have a lot of acne and some of the acne turned into dark spots on my face. I have oily skin. I need something that works, maybe you've tried it or something. My skin tone is also not even so I wanted to see if there is any product that will help. Thank you!

For an overall treatment at a reasonable price with a money back guarantee, I would try the Exposed Acne Solution at:

http://www.acnereliefguide.com/exposed-acne-treatment-review.html

It is a product combines the Science of Fighting Acne with this exclusive combination of actives to for the treatment all 4 known causes of acne:

1. Unclog Pores & Renew Skin
2. Eliminate Acne Causing Bacteria
3. Regulate Oil & Sebum Production
4. Calm Redness & Inflammation The Result is Clear, Healthy Looking Skin! No wonder tens of thousands of people rely on Exposed to keep their skin healthy.

In addition here are a couple of simple natural remedies that you could try. It involves lemon juice and rose water. What I do with these natural home-made remedies is quite simple.

You mix the two together, 50/50. I apply the solution to my face using a cotton ball, leave on for 30 minutes, then wash off with warm water,

Do this procedure daily for about a month. You should see an improvement. Always check with your doctor if you are unsure.

Another natural acne treatment is the use of honey. After cleaning your skin, you can then apply honey to the affected part of your skin. Wait after ten minutes before rinsing it with clean water. It fights the bacteria on the affected parts

what is the best acne treatment to use?

I'm currently 17 and been having acne for some years. I always use clean and clear on a daily basis but that doesnt really do a dramatic effect. I've heard negative review about Proactive solution. Do you know any other acne prevention treatments that actually do work? I need help! I'm in need of clear skin. Thank you.

I am not sure how bad your acne is but my son who is 18 has it pretty bad. His dermatologist wants him to take acutane. It is suppose to cure it. However it is pretty demanding but you only have to take it for six months. Ask your dermatologist. And if you don't have a dermatologist get one they have the best remedies. Hope this helps.
